Keita Gunji is a data center and IT industry professional with over 27 years of experience, consistently engaged in the development of hyperscale data centers in Japan. He currently serves as Country Head of Japan at NEXTDC Ltd, responsible for market strategy, site acquisition, technical due diligence, project execution, and partnership development.

Previously, Gunji held senior roles at Colt (formerly KVH), where he led large-scale developments for major cloud providers and structured joint ventures between its parent company, Fidelity and institutional investors. Earlier in his career, Gunji spent over a decade supporting enterprise customers through data center solution proposals and implementation coordination. He brings deep expertise in bridging the operational, regulatory and cultural differences between global standards and the Japanese business environment, with a proven track record of aligning stakeholders across international infrastructure programs.
