Andy Hurfurt has nearly 30 years of commercial real estate experience spanning Japan, the UK and Europe, covering consulting, investment, valuation and property management. He relocated to Tokyo in 2005, initially joining CBRE Japan, where he led the Investment Consulting team, and then later Savills Japan in 2016, where he continues to specialize in providing Investment Advisory services to foreign investors.

Over his 20 years in Japan, Hurfurt has established himself as one of the most respected advisors in the market, working with clients, including life and pension institutions, opportunistic funds and family offices. He has handled assignments in all major Japanese cities and across all real estate sectors, providing services from market entry studies through to asset-specific underwriting and evaluation.

He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) in 2000 and has a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management.
